We expect these three hours of introductory training can be accomplished in one day, however it would be desirable to allow at least an overnight stay in case of weather problems and in order that we might have more time for ground instruction and discussion. We recommend lodging reservations at the Ste. Genevieve, Mo. Microtel Inn. We can provide transportation from the motel to the Perryville airport.
We hope that your interest in Magni gyros continues. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Magni USA, L.L.C.
I have my Gyroplane Certified Flight Instructor (Gyro CFI) rating, and am able to provide logable training in the Magni M-16, 2-place Trainer.
We require three hours of introductory training lessons to prospective Magni customers before placing an order for a Magni gyro. These three introductory hours of training are intended to familiarize you with the Magni gyro and to help us decide whether to proceed with a purchase and further training.
The normal training rate is $180 per hour. This price includes appropriate ground instruction and familiarization. Should you then decide to purchase a Magni gyro, the cost of the introduction training hours will be applied to a solo/transition training package arranged as a part of the purchase contract. This solo/transition training package would be a maximum of $2600 for 20 dual flight training hours (for a logbook solo endorsement), including the introductory 3 hours. The solo/transition training package price will be mutually determined upon completion of the introductory three hours of training.
All training may or will be conducted by Magni USA, LLC at our home base in Missouri, at any flying event which Magni USA has planned to be at, or at a mutually agreed upon time and location - at the customer's expense for any incurred travel or lodging expenses (Contractual training costs do not include travel or lodging for either the customer or for Magni USA)
NOTE: This solo/transition training package, as a part of the purchase contract for a Magni gyro from Magni USA, LLC, will allow you to fly your Magni gyro solo as a student pilot. Further experience and training hours, as defined by the FARs, would be required to obtain a full Private or Recreational Pilot's license, or to obtain a Gyroplane "Add-on" to an existing pilot rating. If you would already have an Airplane or Helicopter private pilot rating, this training package would allow you to fly an EXPERIMENTAL gyro SOLO with no restrictions (A private pilot rating allows you to fly an EXPERIMENTAL aircraft SOLO).
We accept appointments for the introductory three hours of training at our Perryville, Missouri base. Please call us at (573) 883-3541, or email us to arrange an appointment.
